塾で生徒を呼ぶときは、私は基本的に名字に「くん」や「さん」を付ける。正職員は、下の名前をそのまま呼ぶことが多い（必ずしも全員にそうしているわけではない）。
高校生たちも例外ではない。中学生のころから知っているから自然そうなるのだろうけど、私にはちょっと嫌な感じがする。
